It is produced by Television And Production Exponents Inc. (TAPE) but
is being aired over GMA-7. The show's main hosts are Tito Sotto, Vic
Sotto and Joey de Leon or also known in local showbiz as "Tito, Vic and
Joey". The show first aired in RPN from 1979 to 1989 when Production
Specialists Inc., a company owned by Romy Jalosjos, thought of the idea
to create a noontime variety show to rival Student Canteen. The title of
the show was created by de Leon who combined the word "Eat" since the
show would be aired during lunchtime) and "Bulaga" (surprise in English)
to represent their goal to fill the program with lots of surprises.
Presently, the show is being hosted by Jimmy Santos, Ruby Rodriguez,
Allan K., Toni Rose Gayda, Anjo Yllana, Wally Bayola, Jose Manalo, Paolo
Ballesteros, Keempee de Leon, Pia Guanio, Julia Clarete, Michael V.,
Pauleen Luna, Ryan Agoncillo, Isabelle Daza, Sam YG and Solenn Heussaff
together with the trio of Tito, Vic and Joey. The show also gave way to
the success of two dancing groups-the Sexbomb Dancers and the EB Babes.

A princess whose name is Biiktoria was said to be an ugly girl so the sister of the Queen together with his husband plan to exchange her son as a prince of the kingdom and someday become a king. The princess lives together with the pigs so she thinks that she is also a pig. In the end, Torius proclaimed that the princess' name came from his, therefore she was named Victoria. She was recognized by his father, the king, who was sick and accepted her daughter even if she is ugly.
